APUSH Review Site

Video Reccomendations

If you've made it this far in APUSH, you are almost definitely familiar with Heimler's History. Though Heimler provides comprehensive and concise explanations of content and components of the AP Exam, some learners may want a longer or slower analysis of content, more specific review, or an extra edge for outside evidence on a DBQ. Here, we've provided some of our favorite history YouTubers for the auditory learners, late-night crammers, and overager reviewers.

College Board

College Board offers its own review videos. The AP daily videos can help target exam skills, like CCOT, causation, and comparison, but they also offer live reviews of all content and access to recordings of last year's live sessions. These come straight from the source, and we highly reccomend them to enhance your studying. Click here is their YouTube playlist with 2021 and 2022 recordings.

Anti-Social Studies

Former history teacher Emily Glankler runs the small business Anti-Social Studies that offers AP History classroom resources, merchandise, and media. In addition to the podcast of the same name, her YouTube Channel is a useful resource for all things history. The APUSH playlist is taught by teacher Cathy Cluck.

Crash Course

Crash Course is an educational Youtube channel run by brothers John and Hank Green. Their history videos are all hosted by John Green, an author, speaker, and minor historian, and provide in-depth review and analysis of historical events.
